At RNR Farms, we work hard to keep our prices affordable and to maintain a family friendly environment. We offer both private and group lessons for kids age 5 and up as well as adults. While we enjoy going to horse shows, many of our students are pleasure riders.
Our facility includes a 110’x220’ sand arena, pasture and paddocks with horse friendly poly-vinyl fencing, 10’x15’ stalls with mats, indoor wash stalls and grooming area, as well as a very large air conditioned tack room. Our main pasture has a loafing shed as shelter for our pasture boarders.

About our lessons…
At RNR farms we focus our lesson program around good horsemanship. This means that every student is expected to learn how to groom and tack up their own horses as well as learn basic ground skills such as leading and tying. Our beginner lessons are one hour long starting with a 15-20 min session on the ground (grooming, tacking, and handling the horses), then the remainder of the time spent riding. As our students progress, they will eventually be required to arrive 15 minutes early to get the horse ready on their own so that they can spend the full hour riding.
We also strive to provide the best customer service possible. This includes flexible lesson schedules, customized programs based around the client’s goals and lesson packages to suit different budgets. While showing is not a required part of our lesson program, we do travel to a wide variety of shows which allows us to accommodate both the students who want to show competitively and the students who wish to show at the lower levels. We also offer several in-barn horse shows throughout the year which give clients a fun and inexpensive way to show off their skills and compete.
If there are any specific areas or goals the client would like to accomplish, we would be happy to customize a lesson plan that addresses those needs. Most of our clients lesson once or twice per week, but we can schedule lessons based on the needs and budget of the client. Starting in 2012, our lesson prices will be $35 per hour or a prepaid lesson package of $120 for four lessons.
